Our Beginning

skhy Sarajevo was founded in 2023 by Amar Duracek, who at the time was a teenager living in Essen, Germany, following a visit to Bosnia, his parents' homeland. What began as a personal connection to his roots became an ambition to create something the world had yet to see.

Why Sarajevo

For generations, cities like Paris, London, and New York have carried their names across the world through fashion. Amar believed Sarajevo deserved the same recognition, not by following their footsteps, but by creating an identity of its own.

Our People

SKHY Sarajevo was born from that belief, with a vision to unite Bosniaks living in their homeland and across the dijaspora through clothing that represents more than where they come from. It is a celebration of belonging, heritage, and the connections that distance can never erase.

Our Philosophy

is built on the belief that clothing should hold meaning without depending on it. Every design begins with intention, balancing contemporary streetwear with cultural influence, individuality, and a timeless approach to expression. Some will wear SKHY because it reminds them of home. Others will wear it simply because they love how it looks. Neither connection is greater than the other.
